Overview & Reviews
Other than the Lexus Link emergency and concierge service becoming available, there are no changes for the SC 430.
- Luxurious comfort and convenience features, beautiful interior, silky V8 engine, retractable hardtop, Lexus quality.
- Sparse cargo space, cramped (and nearly useless) rear seats.

Beware of Snow... - 2003 Lexus SC 430
By Looneytuna - March 17 - 2:00 amDo not attempt to drive this car with any snow or ice on the road. It has absolutely no traction even in the snow mode. I have owned Benzs with rear wheel drive and they at least held the road. Unfortunately this is a warm climate car only. The new run flat tires are horrible, living in NYC, they continue to lose air and get bubbles with the slightest bumps..

A Dream Car - 2003 Lexus SC 430
By Jay - December 6 - 4:10 pmI bought my 2003 SC430 with 50k miles on it for $20,000. Everything is immaculate on this car, always serviced when needed. The drive does have that sport car ride to it due to the low profile RFTs. The sound system sounds amazing although it is very expensive to replace just 1 speaker at $320. The rear seats (golf bag holder) are useless for people to sit in. The trunk surprisingly does have decent space when the top is up. Being that the model is still the same as of 2010. I will upgrade some of the standard parts to the newest style.

Great Car! but Expensive Repairs! - 2003 Lexus SC 430
By Stunt Jay - November 14 - 4:40 amRunflat tires do cause a bit of hard ride. I hit a pothole without seeing it and it bent the rim very easily. Dealer wanted $600 for just the rim. I average 18 MPG as it stated I would. No big deal coming from a Tundra with 13 MPG. Convertible parts are very expensive. Overall I do enjoy driving the car alot and will probably keep it until it dies out on me. I havent had any major mechanical issues at all with the car.

Great Sports Car - 2003 Lexus SC 430
By Blue Streak - September 22 - 2:00 amFun to drive, great acceleration, good gas mileage, great sound system, only minus not much trunk room.

Head turning traffic stopper - 2003 Lexus SC 430
By Hyflyer - September 11 - 10:00 amWhen we purchased the sc430 we had to almost wrestle another couple for the keys . People beg for rides, whistle often and generaly thumbs up this curvaciously styled auto. It is a Fine car, well built, solid and QUIET; that does everyday driving with a graciousness, good manners and slippery fast acceleration. We fabricate excuses to take the car for a ride-this one is a keeper .

My 3rd Lexus Vehicle - 2003 Lexus SC 430
By Candace - August 19 - 10:00 amThis was by far the best car Ive purchased yet. It is a real head turner. I have even had people follow me nerve rackingly too close, just so they could get a good look at the car. The car has a smooth engine that just purrs like a huge jungle cat. The hardtop that folds into the trunk is very convenient. When my husband took the top down one day while sitting in the parking lot of our sons school, the kids who were suppose to be awed by the lecturing firemen who came for an outdoor assembly, turned their heads at our car instead and began shouting oohs and aahs. We were embarassed we disrupted their lesson.
